The Municipality of Oslo has built the park, which consists of an environmentally friendly passive house.
Indoor skateboarding park with two bowls, a micro ramp and a full-size vert ramp, as well as outdoor skating areas for sunny days.
The hall is tailored for street, bowl and vert, and has a skating area of 1,430 square metres indoors and 600 square metres outside.
Inside there is also a café, an activity room and a media room where you can create and watch videos of your own tricks.
Oslo skatehall is part of Voldsløkka sports park in the borough of Sagene, about 3.5 kilometres (2.3 miles) north of Karl Johans gate. The easiest way to get there from the city centre is by bus no. 34 to Voldsløkka, or no. 37 or 54 to Bjølsen.
