No he tomado ésta decisión por capricho.

My experiment to use #Windows 10 ended. I thought, I give it a try hearing all the stuff about #Microsoft turning to #opensource etc
#bash on windows (went quite well, but it was just another os within Windows and I couldn't spot the benefits of implementig it in the dev workflow).

Five Cool Alternative Open Source Linux Shells

We are going to look at some of the available Linux shells out there that users have access to free of charge since they are open source, they come in a number of different licenses and this mainly depends on the software creator but in essence one doesn’

Hello Everyone...

I'm #newhere. Getting really fed up with facebook etc. So installed a #pod on my server. The next stage I suppose is to try and get my friends to move away from facebook.
My interests are #linux #opensource #privacy I dabble in a bit of #webdesign #java and #bash #scripts.
I am also proud to admit I do not know how to operate a #windows operating system, since its been so long from I used it for any length of time.
Running this #pod will be a learning curve for me as I have never used #ruby but i'm sure with the help here I won't have any issues :)
My pod is running on a Intel® Xeon® E5 1410 v2, with 16gig RAM and RAID 5 with 3 x 4TB SAS disks with a 1GIG connection, So should be good for a while :)
Looking forward to a great stay!!!

I am involved in several free software projects, including one or two where I maintain the website. For one of those projects, we currently are updating the website. Ours is probably similar to other free software projects. We use a hosting service for several key services, including news, but we run our website on a web server that we own.
